DEAN, Joseph C. – 73, of North Cape May and formerly of Villas, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, May 9, 2019. Joe was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. At a very young age, Joe realized his gift of creativity and throughout his life he expressed himself through his art and design work and was able to enjoy his passion as a self-employed artist for most of his life. He is predeceased by two sons, David S. Dean (2010) and Christopher C. Dean (2015). Joe is forever loved by his family which includes his wife of 54 years, Barbara (nee Simonsen); children, John Dean (Neda), Laura Abadie (John) and Erika Rielley (David); brother, Robert (Colleen); sisters, Stephanie (Mark) and Susan (Hugo); 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
