Joseph Eugene Schmidt Viewing for Joseph Eugene Schmidt will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for Friends on Monday June 3, 2019 at Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services for Joseph Eugene Schmidt of Calumet will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday June 4, 2019 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dick Kurtz & Rev. Jody Schmidt will officiate. Interment will be in the Calumet Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Mr. Schmidt passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 in the SSM – St. Anthony’s Hospital in El Reno, OK. He was born on March 25, 1976 in Enid, Oklahoma. He had worked as a Computer Support Technician. He was a graduate of Calumet High School and was a lifetime Oklahoma are resident. He served in the U.S. Army from 2002 to 2008 during Kuwait War, and then served in the National Guard. Survivors include: His Parents: Kenneth & Marilyn (Peterson) Schmidt of Calumet, OK. Sister: Tracy Kwan & husband Jimmy of Edmond, OK. 2 – Nephews: Nathan & Corbin both of Edmond, OK. Numerous other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church 500 N. Reformatory Road El Reno, Ok. 73036.
