They raised three children in Butler, NJ, and were vital members of the community, including their Catholic parish of St. Anthony’s. Jean supported her children’s interests including, sports, Boy and Girl Scouts, and music. She attended every Butler High School football game and band competition for 10 years. An avid seamstress and crafter, Jean was known for making her children’s clothes, her own daywear/evening wear, and many other beautiful household goods. In 2001, Jean and Jim moved to Village Grande in West Windsor, NJ, where they met wonderful friends and neighbors. Jean became a vital member of their Catholic church, St. David the King, and participated in several Village Grande clubs such as the Italian American, Canasta, Mah Jong, Ballroom Dancing and St. David’s Club.
