Jean McGuirk February 19, 1928 – May 21, 2019 Jean McGuirk died peacefully at home on May 21, 2019. Born and raised in Collingswood, NJ, Jean was a graduate of Collingswood High School class of 1946. She was the beloved wife of the late Morton E. McGuirk. Married for 66 years, Morton and Jean were longtime residents of Glen Mills, PA where they raised their family. Jean treasured her role as a homemaker and always remained involved in her community. She was active as a Sunday School Teacher with her church, Stoneybank Community Church. She volunteered as a softball coach and a Girl Scout leader. In her free time, Jean enjoyed baking, knitting, reading, jigsaw puzzles and playing cards. In addition to her husband, Jean was preceded in death by her children Bonnie McGuirk and Robert McGuirk. She is survived by her daughter, Susan of Glen Mills, and two grandchildren Ronald (Lisa) and Ginny (Jason) along with great grandchildren Jordan, Cayla, Logan, Wyatt, Christopher, Erik and Emily.
