Jean’s Obituary Jean Marie Mesner (Karaba), 72, of Spooner, passed away peacefully with her famiy by her side on November 12, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. Jean was born in Ashland to Michael and Betty Karaba on July 16, 1946. She graduated from Ashland High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Stanley Mesner on Dec. 4, 1965 in Ashland. They raised three children together. Jean is survived by her husband, Stan; children, Deanna Seifert (Teeger) of Spooner, Dawn Chingo (Todd) of Ashland and Rick Mesner (Andrea) of Birchwood; 10 grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
