Prenchak, 103, formerly of Asbury passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Phillipsburg Center. Born October 31, 1915 in New York, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Lawrie. She was a homemaker. She was also employed by McDonald’s in Clinton for 10 years until the age of 95. She was also previously employed by Flemington Furs. She loved the outdoors, beach and nature. She also enjoyed spending time with family. Helen was an avid fan of the NY Mets and the Brooklyn Dodgers. She also enjoyed Clydesdale horses and loved dancing. She is survived by two sons Robert Lawrie of Whitehouse Station, NJ and Glenn Prenchak of Phillipsburg; a daughter Donna Rowe of Kingwood Township; four grandchildren Ed, Michael and Melissa Prenchak and Heather Burley; and 7 great-grandchildren Ryan Lee, Tyler, Michael, Bella and Wayne Prenchak, Zarra Anastasi and Draven McCormick; nephew William Penny (Janet) of Sun City Center, FL; close family friend Meryl Long in Florida; and her beloved dog, Bobby. She is predeceased by a son Wayne, a sister May and a granddaughter Stephanie McCormick. Memorial funeral services will be announced at a later date.
