Ernest’s Obituary Ernest Lee Harrison, 76, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at his residence in Harrodsburg. Born December 20, 1942 in Burgin he was the son of the late James Cecil and Sarah Catherine Estes Harrison. He was a retired Naylor Farms employee and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Beuna Vista Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and playing BINGO. Survivors include two sons: Eddie Lee Harrison of Germany and Richard “Rickey” (Tammy) Harrison of Texas; two daughters: Amy Lynn Schell of Colorado and Jennifer Irene (Chad) Martin of Texas; one brother: William W. (Patsy) Harrison of Burgin; three sisters: Carlene (Robert) Carey of Burgin, Shelia Gail Brickey of Lancaster, and Freida Elaine Blacketer of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Ronnie Harrison. Memorial services with Military Rites will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bob Cheak and Donnie Irvin officiating.
