Eric Daniel Metz, 47, of Columbus, OH, formerly of Wheeling, WV, passed away at 6:25 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Liza’s Place, Valley Hospice Care Center South, Wheeling, WV. Eric was born on February 25, 1972 in Wheeling, WV. He is the son of Everett D. and Bernie D. (Lowe) Metz of Bethany, WV. Eric graduated from Wheeling Park High School and attended Pittsburgh Culinary Institute. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp. Eric worked as a Chef at Various Restaurants and was baptized Catholic by denomination of faith. Many will remember Eric for his love of Music. In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by his wife, Heidi Metz, two children, Maceo and Mia Metz, a sister, Jennifer Allen and her husband, Reverend Thaddaeus Allen, two nieces, Haddae & Kaylie Allen.
