Elizabeth Bragg of Thomasville, Georgia June 2, 1936 – May 31, 2019 Elizabeth C. Bragg, 82, of Grady County, GA, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 31, 2019. Graveside Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be at the Graveside from 9:15 am – 10:00 am. Mrs. Bragg was born on June 2, 1936 in Grady County to the late Heyward Castleberry & Nellie Mae Jenkins Castleberry. She married Thomas Bragg on September 9, 1958 in Pavo, GA, who preceded her in death on March 30, 1997. She was a graduate of Cairo High School and later worked for the Thomasville City School System where she retired. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: daughters, Mary Stevens (Eddie) of Atlanta, GA, Martha Moore (David) of Thomasville, GA, a son, Thomas B. Bragg, Jr., and two brothers, Gene Castleberry of Thomasville, GA, and Joe Castleberry of Beachton, GA, 7 grandkids and 7 great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Thomas Bragg, a son, John Scott Bragg, parents, Heyward Castleberry & Nellie Castleberry, sisters, Heyward Mae Robinson, Dorothy Gainous and Sara Giddens.
