Dr. Bennett’s Obituary Dr. Bennett (Ben) Lynn Turnbow, age 67, of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 in Houston, Texas. He was born on March 18, 1952 in Warrensburg, MO, the son of William Henry and Vivian Frances (Baile) Turnbow. Ben graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1970 and went on to earn his D.D.S. from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1977. Ben moved back to his hometown of Warrensburg, where he practiced dentistry for 39 years; retiring in 2016. He dedicated his life to his dental career and providing exceptional care for his patients. Ben had a passion for learning. He was always reading and researching to fulfill his thirst for knowledge. His other hobbies included: farming, aviation, feng shui, gardening, and culinary arts. He was preceded in death by his father, William Turnbow. He is survived by his mother, Vivian (Baile) Turnbow; one brother, Herbert Turnbow; three children, Drew Turnbow and wife, Lindsay , Morgan Turnbow and Bendrick Turnbow; one granddaughter, Willa Turnbow, and Teila Turnbow all of Warrensburg, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 3-6pm on Thursday, May 23 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home. Memorial Donations are suggested to the Johnson County Cancer Foundation and can be left in the care of the funeral home. Read More
