Goldsmith, 98, of Hershey, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away on May 28, 2019 in Country Meadows of Hershey. She was born December 3, 1920 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Eli and Dorothy (Cox) Massick and was the wife of the late Edwin B. Goldsmith. Dorothy graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School and devoted her life to raising her family. Dorothy is survived by: son, James (and wife Sheila) Goldsmith; daughter, Margaret (and husband Robert Devlin Jr.); grandchildren, Matthew and Douglas Goldsmith and great grandchildren, Quincy, Camila and Gina Jolene Goldsmith. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Audrey Goldsmith. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday. June 6 at 11AM in the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. The family will begin receiving guests at 10:30AM. Private interment will take place in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to CARE at www.care.org Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory of Hershey is handling the arrangements.
