Doris’ Obituary Doris Staub Buchholtz, 95, of Shawano, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Birch Hill Nursing Facility. Doris was born on September 3, 1923, in the Town of Richmond, to the late Frank and Clara (Hammann) Luedtke. She graduated from Shawano High School in 1942. Doris was united in marriage to Rueben P. Staub on December 25, 1942. Doris and Rueben had four children, David (Karen) Staub of Green Bay, Randall (Rita) Staub of Iron River, MI, Judy (Don) Pahlow of Shawano, and Jeffrey (Sherry) Staub of Oshkosh. Rueben Staub passed away on December 6, 1969. Doris was united in marriage on July 10, 1971 to Carl A. Buchholtz of West Bloomfield. Carl had three children, Gale (Nancy) Buchholtz of Little Rock, Arkansas, Joan Suszko of New London, and Douglas (Beth) Buchholtz of West Bloomfield. Doris was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in West Bloomfield. Doris had a love of reading, fishing, and traveling, but especially spending time with her family. Doris is survived by: her children; thirteen grandchildren, Michael and Paul Pahlow, Daniel, Kevin, Kyra, and Dominck Staub, Jill Zimmerman, Jody Vazquez, Kelly, Mark, JD, Matt, and Callie Buchholtz; and numerous great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by: her parents, Frank and Clara Luedtke; her first husband, Rueben Staub; her second husband, Carl Buchholtz; her brother, Franklin Luedtke; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Luedtke, Lawrence and Ruth (Staub) Ebert, and Morris and Ardis (Staub) Schultz; and one son-in-law, Mike Suszko. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano on Saturday, May 11, 2019 with Pastor Mark Drengler officiating. Interment will be at Lake Drive Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
