Carolyn Opal Adam 01/05/1945-04/07/2019 Carolyn Opal (Bowen) Adam, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the age of 74. She was born on January 5, 1945. She was a lifelong resident of Rolla, Missouri where she graduated high school and went on to receive a much desired college education. She lived and worked in Rolla for a majority of her life. Carolyn enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and had a great love of her household pets. She enjoyed and was very proud of her many collections. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Ira & Mary Bowen. She will be greatly missed and is survived by her close friend & fiance, Dennis Tuchten, her three children; Darin Adam of Rolla, Missouri, Derek Adam of Columbia, Missouri and Danica Hawkins and husband Richard Hawkins of Rolla, Missouri. She is survived by five grandchildren; Robert Mixson, Noah Adam, Hayley Adam, Hayden Hawkins, Kyra Hawkins and many other extended family members and friends.
