Billy’s Obituary Billy Wayne Gilbert, age 73, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas. He was born February 10, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas to David and Pauline Volentine Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert was a self-employed welder and a member of First Baptist Church of Hope. He loved facebook and keeping up with family and friends. He is preceded in death by mother and father, Lawrence Crouder; two infant sisters, Barbara Ann and Carolyn Marie Gilbert; one daughter, Stephanie Suzanne Butler; one great granddaughter, Bentley Grace Rodden. Billy is survived by his wife, Sue Gilbert of Hope, AR; daughters Lauri Mathis & Thomas, Jami Crow & Jason, Samantha Stroud & Tiffany, Billie Tallman & Andy, Barbara McCloud & Arick; grandchildren, Hunter and Drake Mathis, Abigail and Adyson Crow, Molly , Ace and James Cronroth, Aric Tallman, Steve and Seslie Rodden, Jordan and Brett Rodden. Visitation will be held 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope. Chapel Service will be 10:00am Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Hope.
