Mr. Anthony “Bubba” Roland, 34, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Gordon Hospital. Born January 19, 1985 in Kennesaw, he was a son of the late Jeffrey Anthony Roland and Debra Alynda Chance. Anthony enjoyed music and singing and had a beautiful voice. He enjoyed spending time with his sons and watching boxing. He was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clyde and Peggy Roland. Survivors include his sons, Blake Anthony Deaton, and Aaron Chase Deaton, both of Cartersville, and AJ Roland of New York; his mother and step-father, Debbie and Jack Dillard of Acworth; sisters, Brandy Rice of Cartersville, and Alexandra King of Ranger; maternal grandparents, Eva and Oles Chance of Acworth; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend James Thomas and The Reverend Nathan Chance officiating. Interment will follow in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
