Anna Laurin Keppler June 30 1922 May 1 2019 (age 96)

Anna Laurin Keppler, 96, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Loretto. She was born in Syracuse, resided in Lyncourt, Bridgeport and enjoyed winters in Kissimmee, Florida. Anna was a graduate of Convent High School and attended University College. She was a former Vice-President of the Mary Martha Society at St. Daniel’s Church. She enjoyed golf, playing pitch and Michigan rummy. Anna was a wonderful homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her strength, perseverance and feisty wit. Anna was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Charles M. Keppler, in 2012. Surviving are son Charles (Arlene) of Bridgeport, daughters Diann (Lou) Jaquin of Bradenton, FL; Donna (Mike) of Cicero, NY; Charlotte (Ed) Moro of Cortez, FL; Mary Ann Keppler of Homosassa, FL; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Anna’s family would like to thank the loving, caring staff at Buckley Landing and Loretto. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday May 8th, 10AM at St. Francis Church, Bridgeport. Calling hours are Tuesday, May 7th, from 4PM to 7PM at Traub Funeral Home, 7975 Route 31, Bridgeport, NY 13030. Private burial will be at Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Anna’s memory may be made to the Bridgeport Food Pantry, 229 Yates St., East Syracuse, NY 13057.
