Ann Rosalie Thompson, of Grand Rapids, age 82, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. She was born to John and Mary (Trinka) Harding in Grand Rapids on August 27, 1936. Ann enjoyed reading, puzzles and activities at the Plainfield Senior Center. She is survived by her children, Sandra (Steve) Zehner, John (Terry) Thompson; grandchildren, Andrew (Megan) Nauta, Daniel Nauta, Jeffrey Nauta, Benjamin (Meagen) Nauta, Chris Garthe, Rocky Thompson, Katrina Cronin, Erica Lucas, Chad Lucas Jr.; twenty great-grandchildren; sister, Marcia (Don) Plugge; brother, John (Joan) Harding; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy and David Eckwielen; and several nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John Thompson; parents, John and Mary Harding; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia (Phil) Maldag; brother, Russell Harding. The funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, May 17, 2019 at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N Monroe St., Rockford, MI 49341. There will be a time of visitation with the family one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions in Ann’s name can be made to the Plainfield Senior Center, 5255 Grand River Dr NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525.
