Henry was born May 8, 1950 in Paris, Alabama to Jim Elijah McGraw and Edith Lucille Dawson McGraw. He served in the U.S. Army. Henry worked for Weir Oil and Gas. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, son, Abdul McGraw, son, Reginald McGraw, and brother, James McGraw. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Etta Kauma McGraw; son, Idris McGraw; daughters, Tracy Smith, Bridget McGraw, Stacy Bradley, and Marie Chipekwe; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia A. Edwards; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and an extended loving family.
