Mr. Woodrow “Woody” Armour age 81, of Gainesville, GA died Monday, April 29, 2019 at Habersham Retreat. Mr. Armour was born in Homer to the late, Hansel and Beulah Leach Armour. Mr. Armour was retired from Peachtree Door and was a member of Lula Assembly of Praise. In addition to his parents, Mr. Armour was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Morris Armour and great granddaughter, Mary Elena Armour. Mr. Armour is survived by his sons, Rev. Wayne Armour (Sheri) of Cornelia and Chris Armour of Gainesville; daughter, Tammy Cain (Jeff) of Alto; sisters, Kate Motes of Homer and Christine Alexander of Commerce; seven grandchildren, John Wayne Armour (Andrea), Stacey Armour Wilson (Bartley), Ashley Armour, Brett Armour, Chase Armour (Lauren), Brandon Cain (Courtney), and Holly Cain; four great grandchildren, Georgia, Ava, Ellie, and Owen. Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 2nd at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Armour, Rev. Bobby Griffin, and Mr. Brandon Cain officiating with the interment following at Gillsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday night from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eagle ranch Children’s Home: P.O. Box 7200 Chestnut Mountain, GA 30502. Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
