Wilbert Lee, born December 2, 1967, passed away April 27, 2019. Wilbert was born and raised in Shiprock, NM. His parents are Wilford & Irene Lee, both are deceased. He is survived by his brothers & sisters: Albert Lee, Terrance Billie, Linda Lee, Virginia Lee, Vernita Benallie, Nadia Lonewolf & Brenda Begay. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Ross Lee and his sister, Yolanda Lee. Wilbert lived in the Phoenix area for most of his adult life. He worked in the construction industry since he was a teenager until he attended and completed carpentry training. He was then employed with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community where he enjoyed serving the community and working alongside his co-workers. Wilbert was also an avid athlete. He enjoyed running, hiking and exercising. He competed in various marathons and even completed the 2012 AZ Ironman triathlon. He was a devout Christian. He loved reading and studying the Bible. Sadly, our brother passed on April 27, 2019 in Phoenix, AZ. He was surrounded by family. We will miss him dearly but look forward to seeing him again in heaven.
