Vernon’s Obituary The celebration of life for Vernon Erick Lehman, Jr. was held at the Wecota Cemetary north of Faulkton on Monday, April 22, 2019. Vernon was born August 8, 1961, and passed away peacefully April 18, 2019. He is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Erick Lehman, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Lehman Clark; his son, Vernon Erick Lehman III (Bugs); his granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Marie Clark; along with numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. Vernon worked for the Pierre School District for the last 13 years of his life. He could often be heard saying how much he loved his job and working for the school district. He was pretty sure he had the best bosses a guy could ask for! He also often commented on how enjoyable and special his days at work were due to the staff, teachers, and students he worked with and for! Vernon was grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a caring school community and wished he would have been a custodian all his life. The adventurous life of Vernon will be remembered and spoken of for years to come by everyone that knew him. He will be missed by so very many.
