Tammie’s Obituary Tammie Denise Brighton, 46, of Denton, TX, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019. She was born July 22, 1972 in Denton, TX to Kenneth Jones, Sr. and Margie (McGill) Jones. Tammie is survived by mother, Margie of Krugerville, TX; two daughters, Ashley and husband Donnie Fonville of Trenton, TX and Callie Brighton of Aubrey, TX; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Braylie Fonville; sister, Michelle Garrett of Denton, TX; uncle, Ed McGill of California; two nephews, Damaurian and Darian Garrett; sister & brother from another mother, Randall Carroll of Cross Roads, TX and Debra Carroll Owen and husband Jeff of Sanger, TX; numerous cousins; the pillars of the family, Marilyn and Dale Baker, Ricky and Debbie Owens, Dennis and Connie Gotcher, and Michael Gotcher; and her dog, Chloe. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth; brother, Kenneth “Bubba” Jones Jr.; maternal grandparents, Hugh G. and Elfreida McGill; and paternal grandparents, George and Maggie Jones. Visitation will be held 6:30PM-7:30PM, Monday, April 22, 2019 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX. A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX with Randall Carroll officiating. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey, TX.
