Sybil Louise Kendall Little, 83 of Marietta passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta. Born in Cheraw, South Carolina on September 14, 1935 to Bervard Duke Kendall and Mary Katherine Rivers. She graduated from Cheraw High School and graduated Stephens College in Missouri and University of South Carolina with a B.S. in business and marketing. She was a member of Tri Delta, various honor organizations and May Queen Court. She was employed by Davidsons-Macy’s in Atlanta and married Adams DeLeon Little, Jr. on June 20, 1959. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta where she helped organize the original Chancel Guild, memorials, and decorations committee. Active in Women of Church and taught kindergarten. Member of the Junior Welfare League and Cherry Laurel Garden Club, town chairperson of National Society of Colonial Dames, served as National Vice President of Dames Patriotic Service for several years. Avid bridge player for many years and loved the many weeks spent at her home at Pawleys Island. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Adams DeLeon Little, Jr; daughter, Katherine Kendall Little; son, Adams DeLeon Little, III; grandchildren, Adams DeLeon Little, IV and Adeline Elizabeth Little.
