Funeral service for Steven Lemar Turner, age 60, of Decatur, will be Wednesday, April 10, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Mr. Turner, who died Friday, April 5, 2019, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born December 13, 1958, in Morgan County, to Alton Turner and Elizabeth Brown Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Lester, Jackie, Wayne, and Roy. Mr. Turner was an active member of Lifepoint Baptist Church. He retired from General Electric following 41 years of service. He is survived by one son, Seth Turner of Huntsville; one daughter, Kalah Turner of Decatur; one brother, Mark Turner of Moulton; three sisters, Sue Maples (Kennith) of Trinity, Trish Middlebrooks of Decatur, and Deb Blair (Jeff) of Trinity; and a host of nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be nephews.
