Ruth Ann Marshall, age 78, of Battle Creek, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019. She was born July 20, 1940 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Joseph and Madolyn (Willbrandt) Baker. Ruth loved to cook, play Bingo and take trips to the casino. She also loved to read and had a deep faith. On November 8, 1958 she was married to Garth D. Marshall who preceded her in death on July 22, 2007. She was also preceded by her parents and a brother Phillip Baker. Ruth is survived by her children: Dennis Marshall, Nina Marshall and Stephanie Marshall all of Battle Creek; three grandchildren: Travis (Becky) Marshall, Trudy (Josh Delisle) Marshall, Matthew (Kendall Patterson) Bowen and three great-grandchildren: Maddison, Devin and Chloe. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Fort Custer National Cemetery with her cousin, Rev. Bernard Blair officiating.
