Rose Marie Hall, age 88, of Richmond township,OH, died at home Thursday, April 4, 2019. She was born April 5,1930, in Windsor, OH, a daughter of John D. and Rosa (Sheffel) Fletcher. A lifelong area resident, Rose was a 1948 graduate of Windsor High School. She then attended St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland and graduated as a registered nurse in 1951. She worked there for a year in the emergency room until she moved to Richmond with her husband,Howard L. Hall, whom she married on September 6, 1952. Rose has worked in hospital, geriatric, industrial and school nursing, along with her job as a homemaker on her family farm. She attended the Penn Line Church of Christ; was a 75 year member of Grange; and was a member of Eastern Star. When her children were young she enjoyed serving as Cub Scout leader. She and her husband shared a love of horses which led to riding, showing, and raising Morgan horses. They belonged to and were active in the Penn-Ohio Morgan Horse Association. Rose also enjoyed flower gardening, reading, and square dancing. She had a love of all animals, was a great cook, and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Howard L. Hall, of Richmond township,OH; her son, Jim H. Hall of Williamsfield,OH; two daughters, Kathy L. (Michael) Reynolds of New Lyme township,OH, and Jeanne M. (Dale) Fuelling of Middleburg Heights,OH; one brother, John R.(Kathy) Fletcher of Windsor,OH; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bill J. Hall on Oct. 29, 1994. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019, at 12:00 Noon at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St.,Andover, OH. Burial will follow in Dart Cemetery in Richmond township, OH. Calling hours will be Sunday, April 7th from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
