Ricky’s Obituary Ricky Joe McMillian Ricky Joe McMillian, age 57, of Lake Brownwood passed away Sunday, April 28, 2019, in Lubbock. A Celebration of Life for Ricky will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Barnum officiating; private interment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood. Ricky was born on April 25, 1962, to Oliver and JoAnn (Aaron) McMillian in Plainview, Texas. He worked for The Hideout Golf Course for many years. Ricky loved golfing, fishing, rock and roll, the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. Most of all he loved his family and reading his bible daily. He enjoyed always trying to make others smile and laugh. Ricky is survived by his mother, JoAnn Futrell of Lake Brownwood; children, Josh McMillian, Meredith McMillian, Eric McMillian, and Mallory McMillian; and 2 sisters, Patricia Lundgren and husband Allen of East Bernard and Barbara Ramos of Clyde. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael McMillian; and father, Oliver McMillian.
