Mr. Richard “Sid” Sidney Raby, age 54 of Franklin, KY, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 3:43 AM in Warren Co., KY Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Life Point Church at 840 Witt Rd. Franklin, KY. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. Sid was born August 28, 1964 to the late Ronald and Anna Mae Brown Raby. He is survived by his children Lauren H. Woessner (Nick) of Nashville, TN, Richard Spencer Raby – Castilian Springs, TN, Andrew Garrett Raby – Franklin, KY and Rachel Sydney Raby of Franklin, KY, 2 brothers Steve Raby of Franklin, KY and Scott Raby of Franklin, KY, grandchildren Braylon Reagan, Reese and Rhett Woessner, Sydney and Karston Raby, uncle and aunt Suel and Dolly Brown of Franklin, KY, a special cousin Brigette Crawford of Franklin, KY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Sid attended Life Point Church. He was class president and graduate of the 1982 class of Franklin-Simpson High School. He had worked at Weyerhaeuser Manufacturing and he was working with The Cedars Florist, Franklin- Simpson Renaissance and the Franklin-Simpson Arts Council. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2019 and from 6:00 am until 12:00 PM Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until service time Tuesday. Online condolences may be made at www.gilbertfhonline.com.
