Laurel Ann Terry March 26 1968 April 23 2019

Laurel Ann Terry, at the age of 51, passed away suddenly on April 23, 2019 of unknown causes. She is the daughter of James and Sandra Gilson. She went to Pleasant Grove High School and graduated class of 1986. She married William Wilson Terry on December 16, 1988 and they had 3 children. She continued her education at UVCC and then went on to do her graduate work at BYU. She got her teaching credentials and became a special education teacher while raising her family. She was a top-rate teacher and was adored by her students. Lori had an insatiable appetite for reading and loved all things outdoors. She had many talents including mountain biking, dancing, quilting and cooking. Lori was the unsung hero of her family. She was the voice of wisdom and intelligence. She was an exceptional mother and had a knack for making you feel like you were the most important person in the room. She is survived by her husband Will, Her sons Zachary, Aaron and Seth and her new daughters Amanda (Aaron) and Kindra (Seth). She also leaves behind 7 siblings who will all miss her greatly. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 1st, at 11:00 am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Suncrest 3rd Ward, 90 North 600 West, Orem, Utah, where a Viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Utah Valley Mortuary.
