Kenneth William Sona May 01, 1946 – April 01, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Kenneth William Sona, 72, of Perry passed away at 11:40 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at his home. Mr. Sona was born May 1, 1946 in St. Louis, the son of Ervin Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Thomeczek Sona. He married Jo Ann Rupp in St. Peters on May 4, 2004 and she survives. Other survivors include: two daughters, Stacey Sona of St. Charles and Tiffany (Jerry) Koester of Bowling Green; one brother, Leonard Sona of Bourbon; six sisters, Norma Abel of Foristell, Phylllis Terbrook of Hazelwood, Nancy Michely, of Bridgeton, Sue Horstman of Hazelwood, Cindy Rodell of Hazelwood and Beverly Sona of Overland; and one grandson, Zach Golick of St. Charles. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Sona and one brother, Raymond Sona. Mr. Sona was an area resident for approximately 10 years and was a self-employed carpenter. He was in the US Army from January 1968 until January 1970 where he attained the rank of Sergeant. No services are planned. According to Mr. Sona’s wishes, his body was donated to the University of Missouri’s School of Medicine.
