James Richard’s Obituary James Richard Mitchem, 63, of Fredericktown passed away April 1, 2019 at St. Francois Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 21, 1955 in East St. Louis, IL to the late John Wyatt and Glenda Lucille (Hicks) Mitchem. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Mitchem and one sister, Linda Sue Rousan. Richard is survived by one daughter, Peggy Mitchem; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Melissa and Shawn Bruce; two great-grandchildren, Own Kelso and Jolene Williamson; nine siblings, Bill Mitchem and wife Nancy, John Mitchem and wife Joyce, Donnetta Teschke and husband Chuck, Judy McDaniel, Barbara Dyle and husband John, Carol Winebarger and husband Daniel, Joe Mitchem and wife Pat, Cindy Blurton, Bobby Mitchem and wife Nita. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Interment will follow at Silver Point Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Read More
