James Leon Jackson June 29 1915 April 10 2019

James Leon Jackson, 103, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida passed away on April 10, 2019 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. He was born June 29, 1915 in Floris, Iowa to George Gladden and Freda Hining Jackson. He married Evelyn Hartwig on December 21, 1945. Evelyn passed away on December 19, 2001. He is survived by his children, Lynda (Richard) Jackson Masulli of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Glen Leon (Crisina) Jackson of Sacramento, California; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and three brothers. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Jack Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Davis County. Military rites will be performed by Reed-Whisler Post #78 of the American Legion. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with the family present to greet friends from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
