James Jim Felton Folsom September 1 1945 April 24 2019

James “Jim” Felton Folsom, age 73 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away Wednesday April 24, 2019. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was retired from the TVA after 36 years. He served on the Sumner County Volunteer Ambulance and the Hendersonville Volunteer Fire Department. He was a past President of the Hendersonville Citizen Police Academy Association and a past Treasurer of the Nashville Chapter of the TVARA. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Felton and Verna Folsom; and a sister, Lynda Folsom. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vicki Folsom; sons, Kevin (Holly) and Brad (Jennifer); grandchildren, Emma and Will; and sister, Brenda Sue Folsom (Alan Wheldon). The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a Celebration of Life Service on Monday, April 29 at Austin & Bell Funeral Home Hendersonville at 11am. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org , or the American Heart Association at www.heart.org .
