Obituary for Gregory Lee Cady Gregory Lee Cady, 67, of Battle Creek, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at Bronson Battle Creek surrounded by his family. He was born February 21, 1952 in Battle Creek, the son of C. Fred and Hazel (Boss) Cady. He attended Gull Lake High School. Greg was the Owner/Operator of A City Cab, Greg’s Car Service, and Cady Properties. His passion was racing late model cars, owning two late models himself. He loved to race at Kalamazoo Speedway and was a NASCAR fan. Greg was an awesome resource no matter what you needed he always had a guy. He enjoyed traveling and going to Daytona for race week. He was overly generous to a fault and had the biggest heart. He is survived by his only daughter, Nicole (Randy Hook) Clark; granddaughters, Jensen Clark, Peyton Clark, Rachael Hook, and Serena Hook; great grandson, Greyson Clark-Evans; former wife/friend, Cheryl Miller; siblings, Ronald (Suzanne) Cady and Donald Cady; sister-in-law, Jennifer Cady; special nephew, Timmy (Sandy) Cady; and many more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, James Cady and Robert Cady. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
