Glenn, age 71, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at North Oaks Medical Center. He was a native of Ponchatoula and a resident of Hammond, who proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Before his retirement, Glenn worked as a Pipefitter, Boilermaker, Welder and a Mechanic. In his free time, he was usually found watching LSU football, riding motorcycles, going to car shows, collecting guns and eagles, or going to garage sales. In his earlier years, he loved to take his family riding on his old boat and even spent 3 tours in Disney World, just to make sure his family was happy. He was always making sure that his family was taking care of their vehicles maintenance, as long as it was a Ford, some would call it nagging, others call it love. Glenn was a wonderful man who is already missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind his children, Michael Richardson, Kevin Richardson, Kayla Richardson and her boyfriend Cameron; step-daughter, Christina Alva; fiancée, Cindy Prevost; sister, Elaine Tanner and husband Larry; brother, Tommy Richardson and wife Jackie; grandchildren, Skylar, Joey, Tyler, Gabby, Kailyn, Justice “Sissy”, and Daniel; as well as his puppy, Teddy. Preceding Glenn in death were his parents, Cecil Sr. and Lillian Richardson; brother, Cecil Richardson Jr.; best friend, Larry Robinette.
