Funeral Service for Frances E. “Dolly” (Kerwin) Williams will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, April 24, at Bonnerup Funeral Service. The Reverend Kent Otterman will officiate. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Oakland, MN. Visitation will be one hour before services. Dolly died on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society. She was 95. She was born on February 10, 1924 in Austin, Minnesota. Dolly married Ralph Williams on July 13, 1942 in Watertown, S.D., together they operated Williams Café in Albert Lea, and the Welcome Inn in Adams, MN. She had also worked at Land-0-Lakes. Dolly is survived by her grandchildren: Elly Chicos (Paul Schmitt) of Albert Lea, Derek (Stacy) Williams of Swatara, MN, Mike Williams of AZ; great grandchildren Zac and Spencer Chicos and Tyler and Kacy Borwege. She was preceded death by her husband Ralph, her son David A. Williams, a son in infancy, her mother and step-dad Eris and Gus Ashley, a sister Lucille Sorenson and her husband Hank.
