Everee’s Obituary Mrs. Everee Daphne Hamby age 85 of Lancaster Rd. Adairsville, GA formerly of Blairsville passed away peacefully on Monday April 22, 2019 following a brief illness. Mrs. Hamby was born on July 22, 1933 in Union County, the daughter of the late Hoke Smith Reece and the late Lillie Mae Reece. Everee’s family was her life. She loved looking at their family pictures and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her eyes would always light up when they came to visit. She was a loving wife, caring mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Hamby in 2018, her daughter in law, Lorie Hamby, one sister, Linda Reece and a brother and sister in law, Vernon and Betty Reece. Mrs. Hamby was a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church. Surviving Mrs. Hamby are three sons and two daughters in law, Alan Hamby of Adairsville, Paxton and Debbie Hamby of Calhoun, Keith and Kim Hamby of Adairsville, three brothers and sisters in law, Verlon and Irene Reece of Kennesaw, James and Brenda Reece of Marietta, Rex and Marcia Reece of Kingston, GA., three sisters and one brother in law, Sue Wright of Ranger, GA., Bobbie and Bill Honaker of Blairsville, Brenda Spiva of Hiawassee, eight grandchildren, Justin and Allie Hamby, Landon and Ansley Hamby, Jessica and David Clare, Mandy and Nathan Maloney, Blake and Misty Hamby, Andy and Lily Hamby, Kyndall Sutton, Brad and Jessie Hamby, twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Pinkard, Rev, Landon Hamby and Rev. Bill Honaker officiating. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Justin Hamby, Landon Hamby, Brad Hamby, Andy Hamby, Rex Reece and Stephen Reece. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dave Clare, Nathan Maloney, James Reece and Verlon Reece. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Methodist Church Cemetery where she will rest next to her beloved husband William.
