Obituary of Eugene C. Chesna Eugene C. Chesna of Hilton passed away April 21, 2019 at age 80. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Jean W. Chesna; their children, Laurie S. Drouin, Eugene (Yoshimi) Chesna Jr., Eric (Janila) Chesna and Kristin (Bryan) McConnell; grandchildren, Eugene Chesna III, Alexander Chesna, Mary (Keisuke) Kinjo, Lisa (Lucas) Michelson, Ashley (Garrett) Oliver, Danielle Drouin, Nicole McConnell; great-grandchildren, Kyren, Caedon, Yuna, Daiko, Kaiki, Brantley, Levi and Colton; sisters, Janet (David) Hoadley, Virginia (Emanual) Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary Taylor, Joyce (Karl) Czymmek, Albert Wersinger, Richard (Shirley) Wersinger; many dear cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Dominic and Virginia Chesna; sister, JoAnne Taylor; sister-in-law, Helen Wersinger. Eugene retired from Eastman Kodak 28 years ago and spent the winters in Melbourne Beach, FL. He loved to visit our children around the USA, RV, boat, fish and in later years, build radio controlled airplanes. Eugene’s family would like to thank the many nurses, doctors and friends who have helped us through his illness. No prior calling. Eugene’s Memorial Service will be celebrated Saturday June 15th, 10AM in All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 March Road, Pittsford, 14534, In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to Lipson Cancer Center, 1425 Portland Ave, Rochester, NY 14621, Lifetime Care, 3111 South Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14623 or Journey Home, 904 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626.
