Diana Hale entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 21, 2019. She was preceded in death by her spouse, John Wesley Hale; parents, Rosemary and Woodrow Cormier Sr., grandson Byron Eduarido Brooks, Jr. and one brother Gerald Cormier. She was the mother of Lisa Hale Stephens and Danielle Dion Hale; and Great- Grandmother of Giovanni Lamar Brooks. She will be remembered for her smile and outgoing personality. Diana was an active member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, where she served as a member of the Alter Society & Just Faith Ministry. She was a member of the Lower 9th Ward Senior Citizen Center and was the previous owner of Nine Flags Daycare Center. She leaves to mourn two daughters, Lisa (Danny) Stephens, Danielle Hale; one Great-Grandchild, Giovanni Brooks; three brothers, Woodrow Jr. (Dianne), Elston (Lynn) and Kevin, three sisters, Gloria Broussard, Rita (Thomas) Bennett, and Cheryl Barker. One Aunt, Corinne Baptiste, two sisters-in-law, Iris Hale and Judy Hale and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of St. Maria Moretti Catholic Church and Franklin Avenue B.C. are invited to attend a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 7300 Crowder Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Friday May 3, 2019 at 11am. With Msgr. Earl Gauthreaux officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00am. Rosary will be recited at 9:45 am. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park. Arrangements by Duplain W.
