Craig S Karren November 19 1950 April 26 2019 (age 68)

Craig Karren was born in Utah and spent many happy childhood summers on the family farm in Idaho. He graduated West High in Salt Lake City in 1969. He married Marcia Jones and raised four great children. He had a successful career as a commercial truck driver for multiple companies in and out of Utah. Craig married Kristie Karren in 1987 and moved to their home in Kaysville, Utah. Craig was an all American kinda guy. His love of family, God, country and sports was evident throughout his entire life. From coaching he sons’ football and baseball teams to family trips that took him around the world where he easily made friends with everyone he met. His curious, gentle and generous soul drew people to him. He was a classic romantic, he loved sending cards, flowers and text messages so that you knew he was thinking of and loving you. His love of sports, motorcycles, guns and politics showed in most of the conversations you would have with him. He was always willing to share his experience and opinions on all of these subjects. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served the Savior with all his heart, he loved serving his neighbors and community whenever he saw someone in need. His dedicated study of the Book of Mormon and the Bible brought him such peace. He was a loyal, loving and protecting man to those in his life. He was courageous with his decades long battle with cancer and throughout his experience he showed kindness and gratitude to those who cared for him. Join our family for a celebration of this classic American. “One gift of charity is not to judge” –Craig Karren He is survived by his wife Kristie Karren, Danny Karren (son) Jen and Derek Huff (daughter & son-in-law) Kyle and Katie Karren (son & daughter-in-law)Melissa Peterson (step daughter) Alysson Peterson (step daughter) Matthew Peterson (step son) Emily and Derek Boddy (step daughter & son-in-law) 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
