Connie Sue’s Obituary MARION, VA Connie Sue Greer Anderson age 69 passed away on Friday April 12, 2019 at the Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, VA. Connie was born in Marion, VA on June 18, 1949. She is preceded in death by her parents Roy & Marie Greer; her husband Harvey Anderson; brothers Ralph Greer & Michael “Humphy” Greer; and sisters Sharon Dunford & Becky Dunford. Connie will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She was a loving sisters and friend to all that she met and enjoyed cooking for her loved ones. She always had a smile on her face as she greeted those that entered the door at Valley Health Care. She loved to attend all the church services and listening to the gospel music at Valley. She made many friends there and cherished each and every one of them. She is survived by her sisters Ann Kirk & husband Jiggs of Speedwell, VA, Shelia Hill, and Kay White all of Marion; brothers Wade Greer of Marion, James “Bare” Greer of King George, VA, and Ray Greer & wife Lynn of Rural Retreat; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews and special friend Chad Powers. The family would like to express a special Thanks to all the staff at Valley Health Care that treated Connie with dignity & love while she lived there. She was happy in her home there, until she received her angel wings and went Home to be with her Heavenly Father. Memorial services will be held at 1:00PM on Sunday April 14, 2019 from the Bradley’s Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with Pastor Barry Romans officiating.
