Obituary Betty Ann (Johnson) Owen October 29, 1955 – April 21, 2019 Betty Ann (Johnson) Owen passed away Easter morning, April 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 63. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany, to Hershel Leo Johnson and Marianne Stephan Johnson. She met Jerry Owen in San Antonio and they shared military life and marriage for 38 years. Betty was preceded in death by her only son, Johnathan Owen. She is survived by her husband Jerry; her parents of McAllen, Texas; her sister, Grace Chambliss and husband Chip of Nashville, TN, her sister, Ellen Eby and her husband Paul of Angleton, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty was very bright and creative with an eye for color. One of her passions was making porcelain dolls. She was an excellent artist, pianist and decorator. She loved taking care of her family and later on enjoyed going on outings with her husband, doing puzzles, and watching movies. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home. A viewing/visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
