Tyvihon’s Obituary Tyvihon Kyzier Banks (also known as “TY”) was born on Sunday May 11, 2003, on Mother’s Day, to Andrea Lee Banks at Mary Washington Hospital. He was also the son of Cornelius Antoin Chapman of Woodford VA. Ty lived a great life, and walked into the open gate into the arms of Jesus on March 11, 2019, where he will find happiness and rest. Ty was preceded in death by his uncle, DeBrouski Mathis, Jr., and godmother, Rochelle Duncan. Ty attended Shiloh Baptist Church New Site, where he served as a junior usher, on the children’s choir, and worship leader on Sunday School Days. Ty was baptized on September 6, 2015, by Pastor Anthony A. Parrish, Sr. Before becoming a member at Shiloh New Site, Ty was in attendance at The Salvation Army Church, where he would ride the church bus, and Third Mount Zion. He loved playing basketball, football (VA Tech and the Redskins), wrestling with his brother, and being goofy with his siblings. He also enjoyed family movie nights with popcorn w/extra butter. Most of all, Ty loved being with his family. He played AAU Basketball, Track and Field, and school football. Ty was a sophomore at James Monroe High School and was employed at Dunkin Donuts. He is trusting to give strength to those that he leaves to mourn: his mother, Andrea; father, Cornelius; brother, D’Mari Banks; a sister, Ta’Kiyah Banks; his grandparents, Chanie D.
