Joanne M. Amato, of Baldwinsville, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019.
Joanne was born in Syracuse, NY, on March 10, 1955 to the late Peter and Rose (Nevetta) Amato. Joanne lived all her life in Central New York, including Bridgeport, Liverpool and Baldwinsville. She graduated from Liverpool High School, Class of 1973, were she enjoyed taking cosmetology classes.
Joanne was the heart of her family and she cherished spending time with them. Joanne also had a great love of dogs, who were her closest companions throughout her life, especially Casey.
She is survived by her daughters, Chrissy (Russell) Margetin, Samantha (Darien) Amato and loving companion for over 20 years, David Crandell.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville, with a funeral service to follow at 3pm.
