Joan’s Obituary Joan E. McShane, age 76 of Minneapolis, passed away March 19 following a brief battle with cancer. Survived by sisters Marie (Bill) Berliner of Beaverton OR, Helen McShane of Portland, OR, Susan McShane of Minneapolis, Lois (Bruce) Netjes of Twin Falls, Idaho and Julie (Charles) Bosshardt of Owatonna, MN; brother Richard (Janice) McShane of Owatonna, MN; other relatives and many friends who loved her gentle and giving spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents Ambrose and Leona Tetzloff McShane. Joan worked in retail sales for many years. Joan had a strong Catholic faith and gave freely of her time and talents volunteering at the church. She loved to cook and bake, and share the fruits of her labors with others. Joan was known for her wry sense of humor and fun-loving disposition. She took genuine interest in the lives of others and was passionate about remembering their names. Joan will be regarded as a kind and loving friend and sister. Interment Saturday 11:30 AM at Calvary Cemetery, Waseca, MN. Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Peace Hospice, 2076 St Anthony Ave., St. Paul, MN, 55104 or a memorial donation to the family. Read More
