Mr. Horace Edward Yell, age 75, of Lewisburg, TN, died Tuesday morning, March 12, 2019, in Lewisburg, TN. Mr. Yell was born in Hazelgreen, Alabama, to his parents Robert Yell and Addie Phillips Yell. He was enlisted in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Yell was a foreman at King Pipeline and Utilities for many years and later retired there. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters. Mr. Yell is survived by his wife of 42 years, Judy Yell, Lewisburg, TN; daughter, Martina (Alex) Bolanos, Smyrna, TN; son, Steven (Chastity) Wilburn, Chapel Hill, TN; sister, Betty Jo Jarrett, Lewisburg, TN; grandchildren, Jaclissa Haislip, Drew McLean, Jastyn Smith, Corbin Lee Wilburn; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 12 noon until 3:00 pm at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019, at 3:00 pm from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Leslie Shadrick officiating. Burial will follow in Hopper Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
