Gladys’ Obituary Gladys Irene (Watts) Davis, 93, of Waynesboro, VA, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at her home. Born on February 21, 1926 in Buchanan, VA, she was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Ruby Watts. She married Ben Edward Davis on December 23, 1947. He preceded her in death on October 17, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Eldridge Watts and William “Bud” Watts; and sister, Mary Ellen (Watts) Ball. She is survived by nephews, Larry (Rita) Ball of Middleport, OH, David (Becki) Ball of Racine, OH, John (Dina) Mays and Michael Mays; niece, Robin (Kevin) Wells of Royal, AR; great-nephews, Michael (Jodi) Ball of Racine, Adam Ball of Racine, Wyatt (Annisha) Ball of Middleport, and John Edward Mays; great-great-niece and nephew, Amaya Ball and Myles Ball; sister-in-law, Catherine Watts of Buchanan. Gladys attended West Waynesboro Church of Christ for many years. She was retired from DuPont. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Fairview Cemetery in Buchanan.
