Franklin D. Coleman, 83, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019. He was born March 15, 1935, to Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Coleman. Frank retired from GM in St. Louis after many years of service. He was a long time member of 7th and Mueller Church of Christ. Frank enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinal games. In his later years, he was very active in the Sr. Bee’s. Frank looked forward to a good game of bean bag baseball, which he took very serious. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 52 years, Peggy Coleman; 6 brothers; and 1 sister. Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Victor and Teresa Coleman; daughter and son in law, Teresa and Emmett Vick; sister, Bonnie Coleman; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, and extended family. The family will receive friends Monday, March 4, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 5, at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Larry McFadden officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park.
