Albert’s Obituary Lawndale, NC – Mr. Albert Walter Patterson, 79, died Friday, March 29, 2019, at Atrium Health Cleveland. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019, at Unity at Calvary, 550 Hollis Lakes Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 with Rev. James Locklair, Jr. officiating. Mr. Patterson was a son of the late John Walter Patterson and Tressie Totherow Patterson. He loved going to the mountain any time of the year. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and everyone knew he was a Momma’s boy. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and brother. Surviving are his wife, Cathy Jenkins; a daughter, Loretta Edwards (Stewart); seven step-children, Jennifer Lockridge, Ron Jenkins, Kelly Jenkins, Brandon Jenkins, Andrew Jenkins, Justin Jenkins and Jonathan Jenkins; two brothers, Joe Patterson and Michael Patterson; seven sisters, Cathy Patterson, Azealee Bass, Florene Locklair, Janice Dawson, Libby Higgingbottam, Peggy Bayne, and Betty Gregory; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Don Patterson; two sisters, Renia Patterson and Martha Gordon. Whitesell Funeral Home is serving the family. Read More
