Vivian’s Obituary Vivian Spivey Winslow, 91, of 222 Ridge Road, Belvidere, NC, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019. Mrs. Winslow was born in Perquimans County on November 15, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Algernon Hartis and Carrie Miller Spivey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Samuel “Wink” Winslow; a brother, Henry Spivey; a daughter-in-law, Shelley Winslow; a grandson, Andrew Winslow; and a great-grandson, Tyler Winslow. Surviving are her three sons, Wayne Ray Winslow and wife, Sandy, of Hertford, Reggie Winslow of Elizabeth City; and Scott Winslow and wife, Sherree, of Belvidere; a sister-in-law, Affie Spivey of Belvidere; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A private celebration of her life will be held. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road Hertford, is assisting with arrangements.
